Snowflake received a call in the middle of winter that a cat had been left behind when her owner moved. A kind neighbor was feeding her, but she noticed that Flossie began to have trouble walking. Her pads were scorched, so the neighbor thought she might have been in a car engine for warmth and burned her paws. Flossie came into Snowflake and it was discovered that she had an autoimmune disorder. After treatment, she healed completely. It is possible that the problem will return, but Flossie is happy in her foster home and loves her doggie buddy.
