How to Donate

We are an all volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and finding homes for as many cats and dogs in our area as possible. All donations are tax deductible. Financial Information about this organization and a copy of its license are available from the Charitable Solicitation Licensing Section at 1-888-830-4989. The license is not an endorsement by the State. Our EIN is 56-2015074.

Credit Card Donations:

Our credit card donations are processed safely and securely by PayPal. Please include your mailing address in the “Shipping Address” field so that we can mail you a receipt for taxes!

Special Donation Options

Memorial Donations
Donations given to pay respect to the memory of a deceased pet, relative or friend who loved animals.
Honorary Donations
Donations given to honor a special pet or person who works closely with animals.
Sponsor a Cat for One Year
With just $25 a month, you can make a big difference in an animal’s life. Through this fund, animals with special needs, such as certain illnesses, injuries or disabilities, and those that must live in foster homes permanently can receive the care they need. For a pledge of $300 for one year you will receive a photograph of your sponsored cat. Please let us know if there is a particular animal you would like to sponsor!

Other ways to Donate:

You can also donate to Snowflake thru the annual United Way Campaign in your workplace. To specify that your gift comes to Snowflake Animal Rescue, just write in Snowflake Animal Rescue on the donation form.

NC State Employee Combined Campaign

North Carolina state employees can now donate to Snowflake through the State Employee Combined Campaign. The Campaign should go from late summer throughout the fall. Look for Snowflake Animal Rescue in the campaign literature under Independent Agency – Code 1599.

Donor Advised Funds

A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a charitable giving account that allows you to make tax-deductible contributions of cash or other assets to a 501(c)3 charity such as Snowflake. The DAF sponsor invests these assets for tax-free growth, and you can then recommend grants to qualified charities over time. DAFs offer immediate tax benefits, the flexibility to donate a wide range of assets, and a simplified way to manage charitable giving while supporting your chosen causes.
